Be careful!!!!– unsafe, unhygienic, and extortionate Positive: Location Negative: This so-called “apartment” is a disgrace and a serious health hazard. The place is infested with mold, damp, and constant humidity. Everything smells rotten, and the environment is clearly dangerous for anyone’s health. A place like this should be immediately inspected by the health authorities, because it is absolutely unfit for hosting people. When I was accidentally locked out, instead of helping as any decent host would, they extorted me: they refused to provide assistance until I handed over 140 euros in cash upfront. No receipt, no proof, no accountability – pure blackmail. They only give you one set of keys, obviously to trap guests and then demand money like racketeers. To make matters worse: no internet, no functioning TV, and the room was freezing cold with no heating option whatsoever. When I complained about the damp and mold, the excuse was: “this is how it is in humid countries.” That is not an explanation – it is a pathetic excuse for neglect and complete disregard of guest safety. This is not hospitality, it is exploitation. Avoid this property at all costs. It is unhealthy, unsafe, and run by people who should not be in the accommodation business at all.

Don’t if you want to enjoy your stay. Positive: Unfortunately it was unacceptable! Negative: Upon our arrival an hour after the check in time, we found that the key was not in the box. We called the manager Ms M. and informed her. She initially treated us as ignorants who do not know how to get the key. After she was convinced, she asked us to wait for “the key person” to bring a key for us. We ended up waiting for three hours outside in Helsinki weather for the key person to arrive as he had to come on a ferry boat from a certain island. Ms M. said she will compensate us for our trouble and sent us the next day a 25 Euros coupon (we paid a total of around 900 Euros for our stay) to a cafe that we could not use as the coupon was for online purchase only! Upon entering the apartment we found a dirty apartment, dirty floor (the instructions said to take our shoes off), very tiny bathroom with a missing shower door panel, no ventilating at all in the whole apartment, the windows are stuck and would not open to get some ventilation. We spent that first night in this apartment and next day checked in a hotel nearby. We informed Ms M. the moment we completely vacated the apartment that we are moving to a hotel and she did not even bother to ask why we are leaving to stay in a hotel instead. We ended up paying for both accommodations. Do not make that same mistake! In case you are wondering about the 25 euros coupon: we gave it to one of the employees in the hotel we stayed in.

Ich kann die Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen. Positive: Die Grundausstattung erfüllt das Apartment zum Schlafen, Duschen, kochen. Negative: Das Apartment war sehr dreckig, die Toilettenbrille war nicht richtig befestigt, der Küchentisch war noch dreckig, die Dusche war seit Ewigkeiten nicht gereinigt, die Duschtüre hatte nur zwei anstatt drei Teile, somit konnte sie nicht geschlossen werden. Zudem standen tote Pflanzen in der Wohnung. Die Kontaktaufnahme war sehr schwer. Nach sechs E-Mails, Nachrichten über Booking.com und eine Beschwerde bei booking.com habe ich dann eine Antwort erhalten.
